The Scientific Part

To provide accurate characterisation of waste streams BCB has an on-site, purpose built laboratory optimally equipped to chemically analyse & fingerprint a wide cross-section of materials. Managing and operating the lab are a team of five qualified chemists and indeed there are plans to further invest in this team & equipment to provide analytical capabilities on a par with a commercial Laboratory.

High Tech Approach

To meet excellent service standards under the increased administrative demands of IPPC, BCB has developed and implemented cutting edge technologies. These include both hardware and software installations, such as BCB’s unique ‘Waste Controller’ materials management system, developed in conjunction with Bartec Systems.

Supatech – rapid on site Techical Support for Customers

BCB’s Supatech support service provides customers with access to an experienced waste chemist to attend site within 24 hours of a request. This service can assist customers to meet their obligations under the Hazardous Waste (Eng & Wales) Regulations 2005 in identifying and correctly classifying hazardous wastes. The cost of this service is usually £ZERO*
