BCB Supports

BCB Environmental is very pleased to be able to provide sponsorship support for a number of community based organisations and individuals.

F2 Powerboating

BCB have embarked on sponsorship with F2 powerboat racing with two pilots form the northwest of England. Mark Andrews – who marked his debut F2 year last season with an early bath (returning to the water at the latter end of the season and showing great promise, it has to be said), and Paul Balfour – who this year walked away with the National F2 Championship. We congratulate Paul and look forward to a successful association with both pilots in 2007. Further updates on their progress in the 2007 season and BCB’s association will be posted on this page.

Dave Bell Racing

Based in the North East at Co. Durham, David Bell is a young man who has been riding motobikes and racing motocross since schoolboy age. Motorcycle racing can be an expensive business and riders rely heavily on sponsorship to meet the cost of keeping their bikes in tip top condition and travelling to and from race meets. BCB Environmental are proud to have been involved with David as a sponsor since his move into road racing and our company logo can be seen adorning David’s bike.

A brief summary of 2005/2006 by David Bell

2005 started well winning at Croft and finished 4th in the Spring National at Scarborough. went to the Isle of man TT and had a nightmare with breakdowns only finishing one race in 21st. Won again at Croft in July then finished 6th at Gold Cup at Scarborough and ended the Year with wins on both 600 and 1000 at Croft.

2006. Gained new machinery through Kawasaki Newcastle and started really well winning 7 races out of eight at Croft then went on to finish third in the Spring National at Scarborough. Then came the TT and things were just starting to go well for us when I hit the wreckage of another crash at about 100-110mph during thursday afternoon practice breaking my wrist and putting me out of action for a couple of months. I am hoping to make a return to racing at the Gold Cup at Scarborough in september.

Mariyka's Dance Studio

Registered dance instructor Mariyka Bolubasz has been teaching dance for the last twenty years and has recently set up her own dance school based in Swinton, Manchester. The school provides the opportunity for local children to learn ballet, tap, modern jazz and cheer leading and throughout the year hold various charity shows to raise money for 'Destination Florida' - a Manchester based charity which sends sick children on a holiday of their lifetime. A financial donation from BCB Environmental to the dance school has enabled Mariyka to buy much needed equipment.
